UPDATE

Yowza, okay, it looks like there are a whole lot of people who are interested in going along with this! Well, I'll be working this out, but here's a bit of an update:

Just to be clear, everyone will be sending out a sketchbook of their own. Something light and easy to ship... not a big, fat,hardcover bound book (unless you're up to paypaling everyone shipping costs). Anyway, said sketchbook will be sent from you, (person A) to person B, who will draw in it, and send it to person C, who will draw in it and send it off to D, etc etc. When there are no more artists, or if the book is filled, it'll be sent back to you. It'll take some major time, but part of the fun will be getting a random sketchbook in the mail to draw in, I think.

The master list of people participating will have names, general areas of residence (city, state, provence, country-no addresses) and contacts (email, dA, twitter, tumblr, etc), and whether or not he or she is willing to ship internationally. That way people can contact the next person on the chain for a mailing address, instead of giving addresses out to the whole group.

Lets say you want your sketchbook to be sent around the world and are willing to pay for it- I'm assuming that one could coordinate paying the sender the shipping costs via paypal.

Pleaaase reconsider participating if mailing things out is an issue... It would be best to keep things smooth. I'm working out a system where I and/or anyone else who is helping out with coordination is notified when a sketchbook is sent or received, this way we can keep track of where things are. If person A has been holding on to a sketchbook for an obscene amount of time, then we'll notify whoever's in possession person A's sketchbook not to send it out. Something like that.

<sub>Here's how it might work: Everyone who wants in would get a sketchbook, start out by drawing something in it, and we'd mail it to another person on the list. It would just be a cycle of drawing and mailing to the next person until the books are finished. It would be nice to have more than a few people so our books would be filled with a whole bunch of artists… But once the book is done, it'll be mailed back to the owner (filled with tons of artz)!

Dunno, I've been wanting to set something like this up.   Who's in? Send me a message or something. (I might need someone to help coordinate this too).
